Malang City – The competition is getting tougher in the 2023 Student Creativity Program (PKM) organized by Diktiristek, and students from the School of Informatics & Computer Science Indonesia (STIKI) Malang are preparing themselves very seriously.

After going through project selection and development, the Unit Coordinator for Student Knowledge and Competence Development (PK2M) at STIKI Malang is currently preparing three student teams that have successfully passed the Student Creativity Program – Karsa Cipta (PKM-KC). This preparation is being done in anticipation of the Assessment of Project Implementation Progress (PKP) for the 2023 PKM, which will take place this week.

All STIKI student teams at this stage have received the PKM-KC Grant after undergoing rigorous selection. They will be assessed by Simbelmawa to evaluate the progress of their innovative and creative projects in the PKP activity. Supervising lecturers have been accompanying them since the PKM selection, providing valuable guidance to prepare for the next steps.

The PKP activity will take place on Thursday, October 16, 2023, at 1:30 PM WIB, and can be followed live through the official Simbelmawa platform on Instagram @kemahasiswaan.dikti. This activity aims to assess the progress of projects that have received the PKM-KC Grant and determine whether each team is ready to participate in the National Scientific Week (PIMNAS), a prestigious scientific competition in Indonesia.

The PK2M Unit at STIKI Malang has prepared student teams by providing guidance, supervision, and support in reporting project progress, preparing presentation materials, and ensuring that each team achieves significant progress.

Hilman Nuril Hadi, S.Kom., M.Kom., as the supervisor, stated, “We have the target for all student teams to pass the PKP and proceed to the PIMNAS selection.” He hopes that this activity will bring great benefits to the institution and STIKI Malang students and serve as a strong initial step in achieving national-level achievements.
