Malang City- STIKI Malang’s Global and Academic Partnership Unit held an activity that attracted the attention of students, especially those interested in the arts and media. In the program entitled “College and Art DaYeh University, Taiwan – International Credit Transfer 2024”, DKV STIKI Malang offers opportunities for creative collaboration with students from DaYeh University, Taiwan. This activity is planned to last for one semester, starting from March 4 to July 12 2024.

According to Global Partnership Coordinator Datik Setyoaji, S.Si, this activity aims to facilitate student mobility between countries both offline and online by recognizing their studies at the LN STIKI Malang Partner College. With the routine implementation of this activity, it opens up opportunities for STIKI students to explore and learn various cultures and technologies from art students which are the specialty of DaYeh University Taiwan’s Faculty of Design and Art.

It is hoped that this activity will provide significant benefits for institutions and students. Apart from improving the reputation of the STIKI Malang Global Partnership through ICT programs with quality partners, this activity is also expected to be able to create a more diverse learning environment from various cultural and educational backgrounds.

Participants in the International Credit Transfer Inbound STIKI Malang were attended by 2 students from DaYeh University, Taiwan, including King-Lok-Anthony Poon, and Valeska Jing Yuan, Indonesian Language, Indonesian Culture, Digital Music, Comics, and Communication Process. They will take part in teaching and learning activities at STIKI Malang in the Even Semester 2024. Their presence will add diversity and perspective to the creative collaboration between two universities, namely STIKI Malang and Da-Yeh University, as well as relations between the two countries.

Through this activity, the STIKI Malang Global Partnership hopes to create sustainability in international cooperation, not only in the academic field but also in community service activities and others. This will have a positive impact on the development of the institution and also for students involved in relevant international programs.
